How it works

Four plain steps. No mystery software, no blast from a personal phone.

Opt-in

People text JOIN, fill a form, or otherwise clearly agree to hear from your organization. Being on a roster is not enough.

Registered number

Aventus registers a US A2P 10DLC campaign for your organization — not ours — so carriers know who is sending.

Member text

You send meeting reminders, closures, volunteer calls, and other member notices from that number.

Reply / STOP

Members can reply to you. They can text STOP and be removed. HELP is available. We do not hide this.

If you already have people who asked to hear from you, this is for you.

Adult / NSFWWe will not register or support adult or NSFW traffic.

Hiding STOPIf you want to make it hard to leave, this is not the service.

Dark-pattern opt-inPre-checked boxes and other tricks do not count as consent.

Roster is not consentA membership roster is not opt-in by itself. Being on the list is not the same as agreeing to texts.

$129/month is a starter plan of about 500 credits on a local number (about $39 of that is pass-through to SimpleTexting or similar) plus Aventus watch. It is not unlimited. You own the number and the list. Aventus is not an official SimpleTexting partner.

Questions people actually ask

Does setup require a monthly plan?

No. Setup only is $399. You can run SimpleTexting or a similar tool yourself after that. If you want Aventus to stay on, that is $129/month, or $1,689 if you pay setup plus a year up front.

Is this unlimited texting?

No. The $129/month option is a starter plan of about 500 credits on a local number, not unlimited. If you need more volume we can talk about a larger plan — still not a stranger blast.

Who owns the number and the list?

You do. Aventus sets it up for your organization. We are not building a list we can resell.

How long does setup take?

Carrier registration usually takes several business days. We work to a 14-day delivery window from a complete, truthful application and an opted-in list.

Can we text people who are just on our membership roster?

Not by itself. They need to have opted in to texts. A roster, a yearbook, or a voter file is not consent.

Do you send the messages for us forever?

On setup-only, no — you send them. On the monthly or annual watch, Aventus helps keep JOIN / STOP / HELP and the registration in good order while you (or Aventus, if we agree) send member notices. This site does not send SMS.

Are you with SimpleTexting or the carriers?

No. Aventus uses tools like SimpleTexting when they fit. We are not an official partner, and we are not affiliated with AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, or any other carrier.

Is this legal advice?

No. TCPA, 10DLC, and consent rules are real. Aventus sets the system up the honest way. This is not legal advice.
